Alfresco candle is the perfect candle for this time of year. Inspired by my love for outdoor hosting this candle, reflects the spirit of alfresco dining experiences. It reminds me of one of my favourite dinners in Tuscany…

The scent of lemon dances from the citronella oil burners hanging of the pergola. The evening is cooler than the thick dry heat of the Tuscan sun in the afternoon. But it’s still warm enough you won’t even think of a jumper. Rosemary grows around the garden in big old bushes, so large you can smell it the second you walk out of the house.

The table is set with the most beautifully decorated place sets. Plates the colours of olives and burnt orange sit on top of the well loved cream coloured table cloths. It’s a long oak table covered in stunning Italian food. At eight normally you would be done with dinner, but here you’ve just finished an aperitivo and can smell the dishes as they come out. Full of herbs and fresh ingredients.

Laughter fills the garden as the candles get lit and the sun sets slowly over the Tuscan hills. A breathtakingly stunning natural splendor you will never get used to.
